SERVICES OVERVIEW
NUTRITION RESPONSE TESTING ® (NRT)
Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive form of applied kinesiology that takes a full body approach to analyzing the delicate, interconnected systems of the body that constitute health. This form of muscle testing helps to identify underlying causes of non-optimum health, often driven by nutritional deficiencies and toxicities. This unique approach to analyzing the body addresses the root of the health issue, not just the symptoms.
HOLISTIC NUTRITION COACHING
Nutritional needs are not a one size fits all and recommendations should never be generalized. As part of the personalized wellness plan, routine nutrition coaching visits will be encouraged to navigate the nuances of nutrition while figuring out which foods will be most supportive in nourishing your body back to a more optimum state of health. The holistic approach to nutrition focuses on quality over quantity and honors the body as an interconnected system.
FUNCTIONAL BLOOD CHEMISTRY
Traditional reference ranges provided for bloodwork are predominately used to diagnose disease which often miss nutrition-related deficiencies that can lead to suboptimal function of organs and systems. Looking at labs through a more functional lens can capture these imbalances before disease manifests and provides better insight into the overall wellbeing of the individual. Using these more optimal ranges also helps to identify patterns of dysfunction.
IONCLEANSE (FOOT BATH DETOX)
When restoring health and vitality, optimizing detoxification pathways is crucial. The ioncleanse is an alternative, non-invasive detoxification modality designed to support your body in removing unwanted and potentially harmful toxic substances. This foot bath provides a whole body approach to detoxification by drawing toxins out through your feet, promoting benefits like improved sleep, reduced feelings of anxiety and relaxation.

All new clients start with a new client consultation
THE NEW CLIENT CONSULTATION IS A TWO VISIT PROCESS

INITIAL VISIT: CONSULTATION
+ ASSESSMENT
In this 75-minute visit, we'll discuss your primary health concerns while obtaining a complete health history and performing a series of non-invasive tests to better understand your current health status.
These non-invasive tests include the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and NRT. The HRV assesses your Autonomic Nervous System while NRT helps identify which organs and systems in the body may be experiencing nutritional deficiencies and imbalances.

SECONDARY VISIT: REPORT
OF FINDINGS
This 60-minute visit is an in depth discussion dedicated to presenting the results of the initial testing and providing your personalized wellness program.
This appointment allows us to delve into the potential root cause(s) of your present-day symptoms and discuss how we can use this information to better address any underlying imbalances and nutritional deficiencies using whole food nutrition unique to your individual needs.

FAQ's
-
What is Nutrition Response Testing®?Nutrition Response Testing® (NRT) is a non-invasive form of applied kinesiology the takes a full body approach to analyzing the delicate, interconnected systems of the body that constitute health. This form of muscle testing helps to identify underlying causes of non-optimum health such as nutritional deficiencies and toxicities.
-
How does Nutrition Response Testing® work?Nutrition Response Testing uses the body's natural neurological reflexes as a form of communication between the practitioner and client's body. This unique approach to muse testing helps to identify barrier's to health that may be interfering with the body's ability to restore homeostasis.
-
What is a neurological reflex? And how does the practitioner receive information from this natural response by the body?Energy exists within all living things, including the human body. The electrical energy that exists through the body flows between all parts, including your organs, and is primarily controlled by your autonomic nervous system (ANS). These vital, interconnected flows can become disrupted for a variety of reasons and ultimately contribute to sub-optimal health. This disruption within the healthy electrical flows is what the practitioner is testing for. To test for these disruptions, the practitioner applies light pressure to an extended arm of the client while contacting certain areas of the body that are connected to different organs (known as your organ reflex points) and systems with the other hand. This process is known as the "body scan." By applying light pressure to these reflexes, the extended arm will generate an autonomic response based off the health of the organs associated with those points on the body. If the specific reflex area being contacted is stressed, the nervous system will respond by reducing energy to the extended arm to send that energy to the stressed organ or body part to protect it. This results in the extended arm falling or "going weak." This response signals to the practitioners there may be nutritional imbalances or toxicities contributing to dysfunction in that specific area of the body. The nutrition right for your individual body will correct this response in the extended arm by strengthening it, even when the area of weakness within the body is contacted. This is how the practitioner identifies which nutritional supplements will better assist your body in overcoming the underlying stressors contributing to your present-day symptoms.
-
Does Nutrition Response Testing® require bloodwork?Nope! Nutrition Response Testing® is a non-invasive approach to gathering real-time information about the body. All the information needed for the visit can be obtained through the body's natural neurological reflexes in addition to a thorough health history and the completed intake forms. If you do have bloodwork from the last 6 months and would like for it to be reviewed from a more functional lens, you are welcome to bring a copy or upload it to your client portal. There is, however, an additional charge.
-
Who is Nutrition Response Testing® for?Nutrition Response Testing® is for anyone of ALL ages looking to improve their current health and make the necessary nutritional changes recommended by their practitioner. This also includes pregnant or breastfeeding women.
-
Can my child experience Nutrition Response Testing®?Absolutely! In fact, it is encouraged. The younger they are, the quicker they are to re-establish optimum health. The only requirement is that at least one parent (or guardian) of the same household must be an active client.
-
Is there anyone Nutrition Response Testing® is NOT for?Nutrition Response Testing® (NRT) is not for individuals who are unwilling to make the necessary nutritional changes recommended by the Practitioner. NRT does include the use of whole food supplements that contain animal-based products and may not be suitable for individuals who prefer a plant-based lifestyle. Though excluding supplements containing animal products and/or byproducts is not entirely impossible, practitioners alike have found the greatest health improvements comes from the inclusion of these nutritional products.
-
What tests will be performed during the New Client Consultation? There are two primary forms of testing performed during the initial visit; this includes a Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and the Nutrition Response Testing® process, which is a form of applied kinesiology. The HRV provides a baseline measurement of how well your autonomic nervous system is operating, while Nutrition Response Testing® helps to identify underlying nutritional imbalances and toxicities within the body. Both tests are non-invasive and require no prep work on your end.
-
Should I be in a fasted state during the New Client Consultation? If you feel this will provide the best results, you are welcome to do so. However, fasting is not required nor recommended.
-
Should I stop taking my nutritional supplements on the day of my New Client Consultation? It has been theorized that taking supplements prior to the testing can influence the results, so the choice is completely up to you. However, this theory has not yet been proven.
-
Should I stop taking my prescription medications on the day of my New Client Consultation?Under no circumstances does the use of Nutrition Response Testing® provide the authority to dictate what medications you should or should not take. If you are concerned about your medications influencing the testing, please contact your licensed medical provider directly.
-
What should I wear to my initial visit? It is recommended to wear loose fitting clothing that is comfortable. During the initial visit, there are two non-invasive tests performed, one of which is the Heart Rate Variability. The HRV requires a heart rate band that contacts the skin around the the upper body directly. Due to the nature of this non-invasive test, a dress is not recommended for the first visit.
